“Ill Fares the Land” featured on FACT magazine

Ill Fares the Land has been featured on Fact Magazine’s “10 releases we missed in 2014”, with some very praiseful words :

“Koenraad Ecker’s Digitalis debut was that rarest of things – a drone / doom record that’s genuinely unpredictable and free of cliche. Brutally physical at times (benefited by some particularly sharp mixing and mastering), it’s nothing for Ill Fares The Land to pull complete 180s on the listener: from wobbling pads, scrapes and processed cello to hydraulic bass patterns in the blink of an eye.”

Ill Fares the Land in Norway

I’m very proud to announce that 2 of the pieces (Decline and One-Eye) on Ill Fares the Land have been used in the most recent creation of renowned Norwegian choreographer Ina Christel Johannesen and Carte Blanche/The Norwegian National Company for Contemporary Dance. I saw the premiere of the piece, entitled “A collection of Short Stories” last weekend in Bergen (NO) and it was very beautiful. A little info about the dance performance can be found here :
